Hard way to find out later they have teflon in them and very harmful to bird when they get hot in oven same with crockpot bags! Always want people to know this as I never knew then and lost a very good feathered friend because of it!
03-08-2025, 05:04 AM | #2 Thank you for sharing! Teflon is so dangerous to birds and a lot of people don't know. I learned a few years ago that some space heater's cores are also coated with teflon after a friend of mine lost his macaw in the winter and the necropsy determined teflon exposure. It was so sad!
